The Department of Tourism (DOT) Region III, in partnership with the City Tourism Office and the City Related Establishment Society on Tourism (CREST), held the first day of its DOT Accreditation Caravan in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. The caravan aims to bring DOT’s regulatory services directly to local tourism stakeholders.

Fifty-six representatives, managers, and owners from tourism-related establishments—including Mabuhay Accommodations, travel and tour agencies, spas, and restaurants—participated in the DOT Accreditation Orientation.

Experts from various local government offices led the orientation, including the City Planning and Development Office, the Office of the City Building Official, CSJDM Bureau of Fire Protection, City Health Office, City Environment and Natural Resources Office, and the Business Permit and Licensing Office. The DOT Region III team, including Mr. Allen Gonzales, Mr. Erwin Tamayo, and the Tourism Regulations Division, also shared their expertise.
