The Department of Tourism โ Region III (DOT III) participated in the Central Luzon Roadshow in Tokyo, Japan on November 27, 2025.
Led by the Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corp. (LIPAD), in partnership with the DOT III, Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA), Angeles City Tourism Office (ACTO), and the Department of Tourism โ Tokyo, the roadshow aims to reinforce Central Luzonโs position in the Japanese market through targeted tourism marketing and industry engagements.
On November 26, the delegation paid a courtesy visit to Her Excellency Mylene Garcia-Albano, Philippine Ambassador to Japan. The group highlighted the regionโs cultural identity through the Kapampangan parolโa Christmas lantern crafted in the City of San Fernando and sent by Mayor Vilma Caluag as a symbol of Central Luzonโs craftsmanship and heritage.
DOT III was represented by Chief Tourism Operations Officers Ms. Avon Timbol and Ms. Ronsan Pelariza, while Tourism Officer Ms. Louie Lazatin represented Angeles City Tourism Office. Together, they helped lead the Central Luzon Booth at the Philippine Festival Tokyo 2025, boosting engagement and visibility among Japanese visitors and the Filipino community.
The roadshow also included a product presentation and B2B session, bringing together government agencies, airlines, hotels, tour operators, and travel agencies, with 31 buyers participating. This initiative supports the growing connectivity between Clark and Japan, strengthened by LIPAD and partners such as Cebu Pacific, which currently operates daily flights between Clark and Narita.
Central Luzonโs hotel sector was represented by Quest Plus Conference Center Clark, Subic Rivera Hotel & Residences, and Megaworld Capital Town Inc./Capital Town Hotel. Private stakeholders also joined the mission, including John Hay Management Corporation (JHMC), Pinatubo Mountainero, SKYMC God Speed Travel Services, and ICMN Travel and Tours Services.
DOT III remains committed to promoting Central Luzon on the global stage by creating opportunities for expanded exposure, strengthened partnerships, and deeper collaboration with international markets such as Japan.
