Central Luzon Shines at the Philippine Festival in Tokyo, Japan 2025

The Department of Tourism โ€“ Region III (DOT III), together with the Angeles City Tourism Office (ACTO), proudly showcased the best of Central Luzon at the Philippine Festival Tokyo 2025, held on 29โ€“30 November at Yoyogi Park in Shibuya.
The Central Luzon Booth drew strong attention from visitors, featuring interactive activities, cultural showcases, and regional flavors. Tang Lucio Sison captivated festival-goers with his kulitan script writing, becoming one of the most visited and well-loved segments of the booth.
Festival attendees also enjoyed food tasting of Kapampangan favorites, including batirol, along with a display of Pampangaโ€™s renowned delicacies. The booth further highlighted Central Luzonโ€™s cultural identity through Puni de Malolos dรฉcor from Bulacan and Christmas-themed installations, including Pampanga lanterns, celebrating the regionโ€™s craftsmanship and long-standing holiday traditions.
The booth welcomed distinguished guests, including Her Excellency Mylene Garcia-Albano, Philippine Ambassador to Japan; Mayor Yoshito Arisaka of Minamimaki-mura, Nagano Prefecture; and Alan Shirahama, Philippine Tourism Ambassador for Japan and member of the well-known group GENERATIONS, who all expressed appreciation for Central Luzonโ€™s vibrant cultural showcase.
DOT III and ACTOโ€™s participation continues to raise Central Luzonโ€™s visibility in the Japanese market, promoting the regionโ€™s heritage, creativity, and culinary identity to thousands of festival visitors.
